Caleb could hardly contain his excitement as he opened the case that contained his new saxophone. He gently lifted it from the velvet liner as if it were still a dream. He snapped the strap in place, wrapped it around his neck and began reciting by memory the “do, re, mi’s” that correspond to each of the keys. It was pretty obvious he had gone over their position hundreds of times in his dreams. He could hardly wait for class time at the school of music.
Thank you all who had a part from the praying, networking, donating, transporting, servicing and even covering the expense of his classes at the school of music. Once again the Divine Director had the score orchestrated and the members of the
ensemble selected even before we asked.
The following is a note that Pastor Nacho, Caleb’s dad, asked me to translate and send on to the great band of players that made this dream a reality for Caleb:
I greet everyone who collaborated to make it possible for my son, Caleb, to receive his beautiful saxophone, and I send you my sincere thanks for all of your help. I thank God, our Father, that He placed within you this heart of service, and that you chose to help even though many of us have never had the privilege of meeting each other.
I want to let you know that Caleb just returned from his first instrumental music class, and he is very happy.
All of our family sends you our greetings and our unanimous gratitude. May God bless you always (Philippians 4:18).
Your brother,
Nacho Gonzalez
Thanks again for caring!
